소개
Following stints at various MICHELIN-starred establishments, Konstantin Keller has taken over this much-loved traditional inn. He is the youngest son of the Keller family, who run Schwarzer Adler across the road. “Down-to-earth, regionally inspired cuisine: the best of the simple things” – that's the promise here, and it could hardly be more apt. Eschewing superfluous creative flourishes, the cuisine is all about quality ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship and full, authentic flavours. Put simply: The food is just fantastic! This holds true for the cordon bleu, the escargots with garlic and parsley butter or the pâté de campagne, not to mention the Zwiebelrostbraten (fried beef and onions in gravy) – the version made with dry-aged Black Forest herb-fed pork variant is interesting. There are also daily specials and a short afternoon menu. The wine list features a selection from the restaurant's own estate (Franz Keller) along with other German and international labels. In fine weather, be sure to make the most of the charming courtyard terrace.
