The Backers family business has a long tradition to its name, stretching back to 1843. Today, the sixth and seventh generations are running the show with great dedication. The fresh and flavoursome food draws on the region and the seasons, and ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible, including the venison and Diepholz geese. The restaurant is a long-standing member of the Slow Food community. There are also a few comfortable guestrooms. Try the "Backers zum Kennenlernen" deal: four-course regional set menu with drinks, plus overnight accommodation.

백커스 가족 사업은 1843년까지 거슬러 올라가는 오랜 전통이 있다. 지금 여섯 번째와 일곱 번째 세대가 큰 헌신으로 운영하고 있다. 신선하고 풍미 가득한 음식은 지역과 계절을 반영하며, 재료는 가능한 한 지역에서 조달한다. 이곳의 고급 사슴고기와 디프홀츠 거위도 그중 하나다. 이 식당은 슬로우 푸드(Slow Food) 커뮤니티의 오랜 회원이다. 아늑한 객실도 몇 개 마련되어 있다.
