 The fabulous lakeside location and wonderful terrace are certainly part of the appeal here, but this restaurant has plenty more to recommend it. Dedicated chef-patron Alois Neuschmid, who earned a Michelin star years ago with Lois, his previous venture, cooks up a storm for his guests. At lunchtime, the menu features simpler daily specials, such as fried black pudding, pasta or Wiener schnitzel; in the evening, fine dining is the name of the game, with a four-course surprise menu that includes some dishes with a main ingredient cooked in two ways, eg tender pink veal in broth and succulent braised shoulder of veal – with wine pairings on request. The outstanding food is complemented by an enjoyably unpretentious atmosphere and very friendly service – the chef himself gets in on the act in this congenial and cosy restaurant. Be sure to book, as the place gets busy at lunch and dinnertime.
+멋진 호숫가 위치와 훌륭한 테라스가 이곳의 매력의 일부임은 틀림없지만, 이 레스토랑은 추천할 만한 점이 더 많다. 미슐랭 스타를 보유한 전직 레스토랑인 로이스의 셰프 겸 주인 알로이스 노이슈미드는 손님을 위해 멋진 요리를 선보인다. 점심 메뉴는 프라이드 블랙 푸딩, 파스타, 비너 슈니첼(오스트리아식 돈가스) 등 간단한 일일 스페셜로 구성되어 있다. 저녁에는 고급 다이닝이 주를 이루며, 4코스 서프라이즈 메뉴가 제공된다. 메인 재료가 두 가지 방식으로 조리된 요리들이 포함되며, 예를 들어 부드러운 핑크 송아지 고기가 국물에 담긴 요리와 맛있게 조리된 송아지 어깨살 요리가 있다. 원하는 경우 와인 페어링도 가능하다. 뛰어난 음식은 편안하면서도 겸손한 분위기와 매우 친절한 서비스로 더욱 향상된다. 셰프가 직접 이 아늑한 레스토랑의 일에도 참여한다. 점심과 저녁 시간대는 붐비므로 반드시 예약하는 게 좋다.
