In an outwardly unassuming-looking building on a residential street, diners tuck into delicious, pared-back dishes made with excellent ingredients (mostly organic or Demeter-certified) sourced in the Alpine and pre-Alpine regions. From Mon-Thu, diners can opt for a three- to five-course version of the set menu; Fri-Sat, there is just the one five-course variant – or if you arrive at 6pm, you can go for the three-course early evening set menu. The pleasingly laid-back atmosphere is in no small part down to the friendly, attentive and unpretentious service, which comes complete with expert guidance when it comes to the terrific wine list, which focuses on Austrian wine-growing regions. In summer, the secluded inner courtyard terrace beckons.
